Frequently Asked Questions

School Procurement & Licensing FAQs

How does payment and invoicing work with official Victorian School Purchase Orders?
We accept official Victorian Department of Education, Catholic Education, and Independent School purchase orders. Upon receiving your school's PO, we provision your isolated environment immediately and issue an official tax invoice with 30-day payment terms for your school's finance or bursar team.
Are Inkcraft Studio and Inkcraft Report licensed separately?
Yes, absolutely. Inkcraft Studio (formative diagnostics & distractor engine) and Inkcraft Report (automated report comment moderation) are distinct, standalone products. Schools can license either platform independently according to their priorities and budget cycles, with separate Victorian Department purchase order invoicing.
Are individual teacher subscriptions for Inkcraft Report tax deductible?
Yes. If you are an individual classroom teacher purchasing an annual Inkcraft Report pass directly via credit card, Stripe provides an official Australian GST tax receipt that is generally claimable as a self-education or professional tool expense on your Australian individual tax return.
How does the 3-Year Multi-Year Price Lock agreement work?
Schools signing a 3-year commitment secure an immediate discount of up to 20% locked in for all 36 months, protecting your departmental budget against future inflation or curriculum update price adjustments. Billing can be split annually per school calendar year or prepaid upfront.
How does the Small School Guarantee work for regional and primary schools?
To ensure small regional, rural, and primary schools are never priced out, Inkcraft guarantees that no school between 96 and 250 students ever pays more than $8.90 per student (with the platform base fee fully included). Micro-schools with fewer than 96 students are supported under a modest $850 annual platform floor. For larger schools above 250 students, continuous scaling ($850 base + $5.50/student) takes over, bringing effective costs down as low as $5.50–$6.35 per student.
How do AI credits work, and can credit top-up pricing change year to year?
Every school subscription includes a substantial complimentary AI credit quota (from 600 up to 10,000+ credits) aligned with your student cohort size, replenished automatically at each annual renewal. Unused credits never expire while your school subscription remains active. If your faculty requires additional credits for high-volume rubric or item creation, top-up packs can be added to your official Department Purchase Order. To reflect ongoing advances in foundational AI models and computational efficiencies, credit add-on rates are reviewed annually and may adjust from year to year for future purchases. Previously purchased or allocated credit balances are fully protected and never subject to retroactive price increases.
